Just a quick little doodle I whipped up, that has an odd backstory to it.
Basically I'm illustrating a Ghostbusters story someone wrote, and one of the things the author wanted to me do was to redesign the Ghostbusters according to how she describes them in her story, since she wanted to be a little more original. Enter Dave Warsawski. Dave is Peter's redesign in this particular fan fiction universe. Only he's much taller, in his late 40s/early 50s, and is a compassionate, kindly, tender psychologist. He's also the complete opposite of the obnoxious little devil that sums up the real Peter.
No rhyme or reason to the name, and he's not known as Dave in the stories themselves. My buddies and I just started calling him that over time, and it stuck as he kind of became his own character. And since he's supposed to be Peter in these stories I'm illustrating, I figured he makes an excellent stunt double for the real Peter!
So on a whim I decided to draw the two of them together. I figure Dave would be fond of Peter, in a big brother sort of way. As for Peter himself? Looks like the little guy's perfectly fine with the situation.

At first, I thought that was Peter's father, rough-housing with him. Great job! Love the attention to clothes and facial expressions. Peter's yuking it up big time! Love that Pete has an earing!
